I am an animator and filmmaker from Maryland, now based in London. My work finds its most natural home in hybrid forms: digital and handmade, narrative and documentary, 2D and 3D. I received an MA in Directing Animation at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in the UK.
My work has been screened at film festivals around the world, including Tribeca Festival, Uppsala Short Film Festival and Rhode Island Flickers' International Film Festival.
My previous degree in Comparative Regional Studies at Georgetown University, and my worked in international development research and as a teacher continue to inform my work. I am most curious about engaging playfully with the personal and relational dynamics that color our social and political landscape. I seek to use oral histories, archive, intergenerational relationships and youth perspectives as a starting point for this engagement.
