I am an illustrator, animation director and educator from Maryland, and based in London. My work is made across digital and physical space, but always retaining a handmade quality and process, mostly through printmaking, drawing and fiber arts. I am training as an animation director at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in the UK, and previously studied animation at FAMU in Prague. Prior to my career as an animator, I studied and worked in international development policy in Washington. As a filmmaker and storyteller, I seek to work at the intersection of my professional paths, finding the personal in the political and centering imaginative and accessible visualizations of oral histories, intergenerational narratives and youth perspectives.
